Global Wine

Global Wine México is a company that offers premium wines and spirits from around the world in Mexico. It has a wide catalog of products that will satisfy the most demanding palates. Some of the products it offers are:

• Baal Wines – Premium red wines from Bulgaria, such as Baal Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Merlot 2016 or Mavrud 2016.
• Teleki Villányi Portugieser, a red wine from Hungary, elegant and fruity.
• Chateau Teleki Cabernet Sauvignon, a red wine from Hungary, rich and complex.
• Furmint Selectio and Andrea Késői Szüret (Late Harvest), two white wines from the winery Tokaj Portius from Hungary, sweet and aromatic.

Global Wine Mexico is more than just a wine distributor. It is a company that shares the passion and culture of wine with its customers, offering them the best quality and service.

A rewarding experience: Objectives and achievements

Global Wine co-organized an event with the Hungarian Embassy in Mexico, and I had the opportunity to attend it as part of the team. I was personally very grateful for the excellent communication and teamwork that made this event possible.

The goal of the event was to introduce Hungarian wines, their wineries, and other products to decision-makers from distribution centers in Mexico, as well as to professionals in the wine industry, such as sommeliers. During the event, everyone had the opportunity to enjoy the wines and other drinks and learn more about Hungarian culture.

I performed the following activities during the event:

• Maintained a good relationship with the providers, as I was the representative who had visited them the year before.
• Talked and communicated with the members of the embassy, such as the ambassador and the secretary of economic affairs.
• Took photos and videos of the event.
• Worked with the members of the embassy to ensure that everything was in order after the event.

As a personal commitment, I wanted to express my gratitude for all the attention they provided.

How I leveraged my skills to accomplish the Global Wine project objectives

• Intercultural awareness skills, such as respect, empathy, curiosity, etc.
• Wine making and tasting skills, such as knowledge of grapes, barrels, fermentation, etc.
• Project management skills, such as planning, organizing, monitoring, etc.
• Research and analysis skills, such as data collection, interpretation, evaluation, etc.
• Writing and presentation skills, such as creating reports, proposals, contracts, etc.
• Networking and relationship-building skills, such as meeting new people, exchanging contacts, following up, etc.
