Madrid Tech Show: A Must-Attend Event for Tech Professionals

I’m Marco Delgado, and I’m here to spill the tea on the Madrid Tech Show. It was a wild ride, and I learned a lot about the future of tech, including cloud, cybersecurity, big data, artificial intelligence, data centers, connectivity, eCommerce, and digital marketing. I’m excited to share my insights with you, so get ready for a bumpy ride!

As a VIP guest, I had the opportunity to meet with other professionals and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing our industry. I also attended several conferences and workshops, where I learned about cutting-edge technologies and strategies that can help businesses succeed in the digital age.

The hidden gems of the Madrid Tech Show

The Technology for Marketing area

Great place to learn about the latest digital marketing solutions and strategies. I attended a workshop on how to use WhatsApp Business to create a seamless and secure shopping experience for customers. I also learned about the importance of customer experience, content marketing, social media, and other key marketing channels.

The Cybersecurity in the Financial Sector roundtable was eye-opening.

I learned about the challenges that the financial industry faces in cybersecurity, and how cloud solutions can protect data and systems from cyberattacks. I also learned about the best practices and standards for cloud compliance. One of the panelists in this roundtable was Rodrigo Hornos, a cloud compliance specialist manager at IBM.

He said that the financial industry is a prime target for cyberattacks because it holds a lot of sensitive data. He also said that cloud solutions can help financial institutions to improve their cybersecurity posture by delivering them with more control over their data and systems.

The Challenges of a Good Governance in Cybersecurity

The talk by Gianluca D’Antonio was thought-provoking. He discussed the “seven sins of cybersecurity” and explained how these sins can affect an organization’s security posture and culture. He also highlighted the importance of taking cybersecurity seriously and making it a part of corporate responsibility.

One of the “seven sins” that Gianluca discussed the “my data is worthless for a hacker” fallacy. This is the belief that if you don’t think your data is valuable, then hackers won’t be interested in it. As a result, you don’t need to protect it. However, Gianluca argued that this is a false sense of security. In fact, it can make your organization more vulnerable to attack because attackers will be more likely to target you if they think your data is easy to steal.

The Accelerating the Digital Transformation in Spain

Thanks to the public cloud of Google Cloud, talk by Javier Martinez was inspiring. He showed how Google Cloud can help businesses in Spain to innovate, grow, and compete in the digital era. He also shared some success stories of Spanish companies that have used Google Cloud to transform their businesses.

Overall, I had a great time at the Madrid Tech Show. It was an enriching and inspiring experience that helped me to learn new things and update my knowledge. I highly recommend attending this event if you are interested in technology and innovation.
