I hope everyone is enjoying Google Cloud Next ’23!
I wanted to share my experience attending the “2Gather: Google Cloud Next ‘23 Watch Party Paris” 🥳 event, which was held at the Google offices in Paris, France. The Google Cloud Customer Community (C2C) hosted the event, and it was an amazing opportunity to build a peer-to-peer community to solve the biggest challenges.
I enjoyed many things about the event, for example the reception, the trivia game, and the keynote discussion. However, I was most impressed by the excellent planning and positive vibes that were created by @MichelleGurney (EMEA Head Customer Cloud) and Ilias Papachristos (Global Community Manager – C2C). I felt truly welcome from the moment I arrived, and I had the opportunity to connect with many other cloud enthusiasts.
The Google Cloud Next ‘23 Watch Party Paris began with a meet-and-greet.
The event started with a reception where we could mingle and enjoy refreshments. I had the chance to chat with members of Orange Business Services and AIVEN, and I learned about the solutions they offer to their customers using the Google Cloud Marketplace.
After the reception, we played a trivia game about Google Cloud and France. It was a fun way to learn more about the cloud and French culture. Congratulations to the winners!
The highlight of the event was the live stream of the GC Next keynote. We heard from Sundar Pichai, Thomas Kurian, Jen-Hsun Huang, and Nenshad Bardoliwalla, and we learned about the latest innovations in cloud computing. I highly recommend watching the keynote if you haven’t already.
in addition, the event also included a keynote discussion and Q&A session with Thibault Panhard (Google Cloud France), Florian Caringi (BPCE), and Wael Mtibaa (Carrefour). They discussed the key topics from the keynote and how they are relevant to French customers.
I would like to thank @Lauren_vdv for inviting me to the event, and Michelle Gurney for her warm hospitality. In addition, I am grateful for the opportunity to have met amazing people and learned so much. I look forward to attending future events and continuing to grow with this community.
